Insomnia in Counciltucky

Oi. I'm at the Quality Inn just across the river in Council Bluffs, IA. I'm sharing a room with my business partner. I came up with her so I could entertain her boyfriend today while she is at a conference for work. Ack. And I cannot sleep. The room only has one bed, and I am not one to easily fall asleep with another person in the bed. It is a little different when that person is someone that have a romantic or sexual relationship with. But that is obviously not the case here. Either way you look at it, I can't sleep easily with another person in the bed.

So, here I am. Almost 4:30 in the morning, tired, but not able to get to sleep. I can sit at the computer and type away, but I can't sit up and read without the light shining in poor Sarah's face. To make matters worse, when I have tried to get to sleep, she snores! LOL I snore, too, but I don't often hear myself snore.

Oh well. Just one of life's little random things. I guess I will survive. I can try to nap during the day. Goddess knows that Michael will need a nap. He's coming in from Indianapolis via Greyhound bus. Poor boy. He's not going to have had much sleep and he is going to be stinky. Toss him in the shower and then take a nap. Maybe I can sleep when I am exhausted or with a man in the bed. I dunno.
